Mercy Storyline

100 YEARS AFTER CREATION -- angels battle fallen angels and SATAN rips a wing from his brother MICHAEL. 150 years later, EVE is made from Adam’s rib and she is soon seduced by Satan. Subsequently, Eve gives birth to their child, SIN, and they run from the Garden Of Eden together.

200 YEARS AFTER CREATION; THE FALL -- Satan and his army fall to the Earth. To battle the Fallen, Michael and his angels (RAPHAEL, GABRIEL, URIEL, and RAQUEL) form an alliance with a group of vampires, the last remaining on Earth: CIAN, SAGE, IVY, OMIDA, AMBROSE, and STORMYR.

250 YEARS AFTER THE FALL -- the angels and vampires battle with Eve and Sin and their demons. Sage drives two Sais into Sin’s torso and bites. The death of her daughter changes Eve and even causes Satan to repent.

500 YEARS AFTER THE FALL -- Satan comes to the vampires and gives them pendants which allow them to walk in sunlight. In return, he wants them to stop Eve by any means necessary.

Salem, Massachusetts, 1692 -- Eve and the vampires are all tied to poles, about to be torched by angry villagers. As Eve consumes the fire burning all around, Michael frees the vampires. Nearby, Uriel and Raquel prepare a black coffin and the other angels force Eve into it. Satan seals Eve, once his lover, inside the box for eternity.

PRESENT DAY -- LUNA OREL (40’s) checks her daughter, MERCY (15), into Vista Del Sol Healthcare Facility. She carries a box of nightlights, her only defense against her deep, crippling fear of the dark. There are other teenage girls at Vista Del Sol too, including PANDORA(15). Almost immediately, they clash, forced to undertake chores together, Mercy and Pandora soon bond, sneaking out after-dark together.

Later, Mercy wakes up in her bed, back in the psych facility. She looks out her window and sees coroners pushing a gurney out of the woods – Pandora has been found, dead.

Returning to the woods, Mercy gets attacked by a pack of demons. Fortunately, 3 vampire women appear and slay the demons. Sage tells Mercy that she’s half-nephilim and she believes they can help each other. First, they must teach her how to fight and defend herself.

Later at Cian’s mansion, the vampires introduce Mercy to the angels. Ambrose’s vision allows the vampires and angels to learn that Eve ambushed Satan, throwing him into the nine circles of Hell. In order to defeat Eve, Michael wants to undertake a crazy plan – enter Hell and rescue the Devil. In order to enter Hell, Michael and the others need several things: the blood of an archangel, the blood of the dead, and the blood of Christ.

Mercy accompanies the vampires to the morgue to fetch some of Pandora’s blood, while the angels acquire the Spear of Destiny to obtain Christ’s blood. Meanwhile, Eve conjures the abomination known as SHADOWS. At the morgue, Eve possesses Pandora and battles Mercy and the vampires. Later, after reuniting with the angels, Mercy watches Michael use the Spear of Destiny to open another doorway leading underground.

Eve uses some of Mercy’s blood to raise another ally, AZURA. Together, Eve, Shadows, and Azura enter Vista Del Sol and slaughter anyone who gets in their way, including a small army of cops.

Mercy is surprised to find herself in the woods near Vista Del Sol, but Michael explains it isn’t the same – they’re in Hell, venturing deeper and deeper. Mercy finds Satan hanging on an upside down cross. Now, they’ll need to work together to defeat Eve.

When the climactic battle gets underway, the hospital staff join the fight. But they’re on the side of evil, possessed by the spirits of the Four Horsemen: WAR, DEATH, PESTILENCE, and FAMINE. They pummel the angels and vampires. Now that she can control her miraculous power, Mercy defeats the enemy with her light, burning their darkness away.

Eve grabs Luna but Michael swoops in and grabs her, as Ivy shoots an arrow into Eve’s heart and Sage stabs her with Sais. But Eve heals her own wounds and rises, seemingly unstoppable. Using her power, however, Mercy is able to force Eve somewhere she really doesn’t want to go – back into her black coffin. With Eve contained, Mercy embraces her mother. Later, the angels and vampires prepare to leave and say goodbye to Mercy and Luna. Michael promises to come back and visit soon.

Meanwhile, in a hospital maternity ward, Satan cuts his finger and drips blood into the mouth of one newborn, one he names--Damien!
